One of the great new features offered by Windows 10 is the ability to extend the battery life of your laptop by setting your system to limit PC activity once your battery reaches below a certain level. Here's how to take advantage of this new feature and extend the battery life of your computer. Open your computer Settings and go to System:
Click on the Battery saver option located in the left-hand menu. Turn the Battery saver switch On to activate the battery saver:
Now open the Battery Saver Settings menu located at the bottom of the screen. Click the button that reads Turn battery saver on automatically if my battery falls below: and then move the cursor to define to your desired level:
Once your computer’s battery level falls below your indicated percentage, it will automatically switch into energy saver mode.
